Asus mypal a620 I ruined it.

The touch screen is working fine now. I'm starting to think I should have never used the hair dryer. I don't know what happen, all I know is that after using the hair dryer I turned the unit on and the screen was flipped around backwords and out of frame. I think if I didn't use the hair dryer at all and let it set alone and dry I would have a working pocket PC now.

Not sure what it was, probally some moisture, letting it dry out is the best idea. I kept the hairdryer about 5 inchs from my screen, kept it there probally 30 minutes, and the water spots evaporated. Not sure why the hairdryer would hurt your unit, but i've never owned the mypal. I guess asus tech support would help you with the screen being flipped, but sending it in would be impossible if you opened it.

Call asus, and tell them your screen flipped, just don't tell them you had windex under it, if your touchpad works you just gotta unflip your screen, they may be able to fix that over the phone with you. Some of the people on here are quite experienced with the asus so they might know how to fix this.
