Ok - I downloaded 2 movies which shows the x30 in action from a guy at the fpsece board.
If uploaded it on my own webspace, the results are impressive... I hope the Asus A730 will be near at this speed.

here are the 2 movies:

(save with rightklick and save target as)

EDIT: Something which I am very interessted is if the Asus A7300 will be slower because it runs VGA resolution. I ve heard that you can set the resolution to normal 320*240 is this right?

I have a bad experience with my X30 thus far, check out the thread I started about possible MorphGear compatibility issues.

Mookie, I have been following this thread with much interest as I am on the fence about both these. I appreciate your update on gaming; the games I play are along the lines of Legacy, shadowgate, snails, etc. I am glad to see that those work fine on the x30, you just get so much for the price, it's hard to deny its goodness!

Pardon my asking, but wouldn't 80% of people's problems with the Axim X30's D-pad be fix by simply unmapping the center button? I mean, if the thing's got a surplus of side buttons, it shouldn't be a big deal, right?

Also, can anyone confirm the Morphgear button delay that RChickenMan talks about in another post?
