yes, you can also (not positive how the hardware is set up), but change voltages burning out the screen, and other things.

here's my expert analysis: I've got a debit card. I don't like buying stuff on credit much so I don't have a credit card. It's that simple.

You can get you a visa check card and it is taken right out of your checking account. So if you dont like buying things with credit you do not have to. It is taken directly out of your checking account. These cards have been around for quite sometime now. I bet with you vast knowledge of being an economist you already knew this but may have overlooked it. Hope this clears up that you can actually purchase things without a credit card.
