Some Jornada 728 are available!

I should get a Jornada 728... as soon as I win the lottery. But my laptop is NOISY and HOT as junk! The HD can be heard rooms away and occasionally the HD will make this criquet noise as it winds down it's rotation speed (part of the battery saving feature). It kicks ass as a desktop replacement, but I can't really take it anyway. Especially when the fans come on. *cringe*

What kind of laptop do you have?? My wife is getting a Dell 8200 as a desktop replacement. I just hope its not as loud as the one you have.

My parents have a Dell Dimension 8200 it's very quiet! When we got it, it was making a very annoying noise, so we called dell, they came over to fix it like the day after or something, and no problems since.

After reading your earlier post about ebay as well as some reviews out on the 728, I decided to give Ebay a shot as well. It worked out rather well and I was able to get one pretty cheap.

Thanks for the idea. With the money I saved on the 720, I can now accessorize without blowing my budget!!

Oh yeah, my wife thanks you as well.
