ATI Imageon and e740

I don't have info on whether they have the ATI chip all I have gotten from my sources is that performanc eis bad and they are waiting on a fix related to saftware not hardware.... so who knows but I do know that the e740 is a production XScale (how would they get ahold of hundred thousand prototype XScale chips?) The poblem will be resolved once we see what Toshiba's egineers figure out.

Moose, you've been playing the guessing game for a while now about the e740, so I wouldn't take anything you say seriously. And no, nobody ever said the e740 had a 3d Accelerator in it. We'll just wait until we hear more from Toshiba.

That's what I'm saying. The numbers should still be TWICE current devices, but they aren't. The ATI Imageon should still function as a TCON even without these mystery drivers. The processor is still running at double the speed so we should still see double the numbers.

The double clock speed in this new architecture translates to a 30% increase in performance. That's what we should be seeing.
