I think that its design is one of the simplist (uglist) design for a PPC. Although I do like the D-Pad not being that weird oval (ala iPaq) its still to weird of a shape. And yet another company that has placed the speaker inside the D-Pad? In the PPC world, cosmetics is a major factor. Why did the iPaq sell so well despit its numerous problems (simultanios button pressing, dust under the screen, stylus getting stuck) It was its beautiful cosmetic design (and also the faster processor to date at the time) I have a feeling that the Asus unit will go the way of the Casio E-200. Benchmarks proved that in graphics and speed, Casio won, hands down. But do to its mediocre cosmetic dessign, it has more or less failed.

The person who said 56FPS seemed to have it/see it in action. If so, that's pretty damn reliable.

Believe it or not, people can encode videos at 60fps. It's not all that hard. And if worse comes to worse, you make your own video, in something like Flash.
