Sponge, I own an H1910 and 5455 and once owned a 3955. Yes, in some cases the H1910 is faster at playing games when overclocked to 300 Turbo and more so in Run mode. No insecurities here, just stating the facts as I see them. Over in the 1910 forum at Bighthand the author of one of the overclocking utilities posted benchmarks and had a pretty good explanation as to why the 1910 runs so fast compared when overclocked.

Some facts are hard to swallow when you have payed so much money for the latest and greatest PPC only to see a budget model running just as fast. The only thing that stinks about the 1910 is the lack of wi-fi and battery life. Otherwise it kicks my 5455 in the butt.

I didn't pay for anything. I wasn't referring to you either, I was referring to chef the sushi, who exaggerates EVERYTHING, and has no clue what he's talking about judging from past experiences. If the 1910 is faster, then it's faster, but I'm waiting for more conclusive proof than a ravaing lunatic's yellings. PocketQuake runs horrible on the 1910, that's the only hard evidence I have towards EITHER side. I want real world numbers, not VOBenchmark crap.

The complete lack of expandibility in the 1910 is another of it's problems, but that's a whole other issue.

Trying to use the same exact argument against me really doesn't make you look all that smart too by the way.

Doesn't SiGen get 9.something fps at 300 MHz? That's not horrible.

ya, I think that the H1910's PXA250 B2 processor is capable of handling a faster bus speed and thus is slightly faster when overclocked in turbo mode. However I get a solid 30FPS in PocketSNES when overclocked to 472MHz on my H3955, and that's completely smooth enough to be playable AND enjoyable. I doubt ironchef got 60FPS in PocketSNES, but I do believe that it was faster than my H3955.

H1910 is faster then the h3655 and the h5455 and that all there is to it

Damian: Oops. Maybe so. Either way, my overall point still is I'm not believing anything until I have solid numbers within my grasp of the claims. (ie more than people saying "Well it SEEMS faster" or other people saying "OMGOMGOMGLOOK I GOT 60FPS IN POCKETSNES")

Well if you want hard core proof you can do 2 things. Send me a video camera and ill video tape it or you can go to a computer store put a sd card in the h1910 and test it your self. Easy enough?

No, because I know from personal experience that SNES9x's FPS counter is flaky.
