I Just Bought an e740...XScale optimizations?

so james, if reseting doesnt help me, is there anything i can do on my end to fix the problem? I cant go to my school and unplug all the APs, so what should i do. Would a hard reset help? I am going to try it regardless, because most of my stuff is on my CF card anyway. If i manually entered the info, would that work. Also, if i did that, which ip should i use? I mean should i just go to www.whatismyip.com on one of the computers and put that in, or what. Thanks for the help

Well ya if you type in the gateway, DNS, and your IP manually then it should work no problem, except that you might write over an IP address that's already in use and come up with conflicts.

ok, but where do i find all that crap. when dealing with me, assume you are talking to an idiot. So is my plan of going on to www.whatismyip.com good? Also, it gives my the subnet mask and the gateway through my utility, even though it wont connect.
