I'm playing the old Warcraft 1, just fine, the newer ones don't work because they're svga :(

A tip for playing these games is to install them on your desktop computer first, then move the folder it made over to your pocketpc. Some games won't work until you do that, or more specifically, run the setup.exe and select no sound settings for all the game's audio settings.

Warcraft will not run unless it's implicitly told not to enable sound, until then, it will crash out each time it tries to access a sound card during it's auto-config routine once it gets passed the title screen.

Command & Conquer Red Alert DOS asks for the CD in order to play on the PC, is this a problem on the Pocket PC??

You can always get a No-CD crack, which are legal if you own the game. Just don't post links here, but they're quite easy to find.
