Sorry Pal, but that was put into to the rules because people thought we were running the contest to get new logos and graphics to use and to get off cheap by offering the winner only a laptop. However, all of the people we would pay for things like this don't have the time to enter a contest like this. We're not going to change the look our future based on the few people who had time to put something together.
I'm very proud of all of the people who entered. It was a looooong, hard process to walk through and even harder when you figure Asus and Pocket Matrix had their hand in this as well. Considering we couldn't all sit down at a table and discuss every entry, we all narrowed our search down to about 15 entries a piece, which translated into about 25 enteries that we then had to go through. The winner was based on potential of a real life mascot (which by the way, if anyone has made a mascot costume you probably would have won)... Now, whether or not we use the flashing notebook guy as a real life mascot depends. It's the idea that counts, which is why you had to be creative... just writing out name out in photoshop and changing the fonts wasn't going to work.
Give it up, the contest is over and we're already working on another one. If this BS continues in this forum Pocket Matrix will have a hard time convincing us this is the place to run it.
