Expensive storage

I think buying a CF Sleeve is a waste. You can buy PC Card -> CF Card adaptors very inexpensively. And then you've got the entire range of PC Card devices at your disposal.

But can you even use a sleeve and a keyboard at the same time? I thought they both plugged into the port on the bottom of the iPaq.
I'm really starting to hate iPaqs the more I hear about them and am glad I went with the Casio. It's so much more inexpensive, less of a hassle, just a little slower.

Good luck with your purchases, and I hope your iPaq works out.

Correction, Lexus at 16.
Price matters. I'm not going to go around wasting my money. I'm going to support (shell out money to) the company that takes the best route, has the best marketing, best features, etc. And Casio was right on all counts. My only wish is that my Casio had a PC Card expansion port onboard instead of a CF port. Since my MicroDrive came with the PCMCIA->CF adaptor I've realised how much use I could get out of a PC Card port instead of CF.

Mountains of accessories? prph, right. So it's got two 'sleeves', great. Spending $150 more than i have to just to make the iPaq as expandible as the Casio isn't my idea of a good use of money. However, buying an SLK 230 is a good use of my money.

Did you know that shirts cost $40!! That's insane! I'll just have to start walking around naked from now on in protest. Oh wait, you can get arrested for lude behavior, can't you?
Last modification: Moose Master - 06/15/01 at 17:29:55

Casio is far from perfect, but the iPaq isn't any closer either. The most perfect PocketPC would have to be the @migo. It's got PC Card expansion, a built in modem, big screen, good buttons, and the best processor. But the best mobile device (excluding laptops) would be the Jornada 720. It has a built in graphics accelerator, the same processor as iPaq, PC Card, keyboard, built in modem, big screen... Everything I want in a mobile device. I just wish it had more games.
