Moose, I get 8 hrs. What's your backlight on? Mine is on the lower end, more lower middle.

Odd, wonder why I'm getting more battery life, especially in intense games.

I used to use my 3600 with the backlight off as much as possible, but there's no need to now.

guys, its actually BAD for you to totaly discharge lith ion batteries. You get much longer life if you recharge it when it gets to around %30.. and keep it charged as much as you can.

I just read a post over at pocketpcpassion and it said that you can actually ruin the Maestro's battery by Deep Discharging it!!! I will keep this in mind when I get my new one!

How did this topic evolve from IR range to battery span?

Anyhow, my H3970 lasts pretty long, and the brightness is set to 10% (or less). But I also leave Bluetooth on, at medium transmission power all the time. (Also I set the thing to never turn off mode.)

Still, my iPAQ lasts long enough for me to get through school (lowest charge ever tested on is 78%) (I never pay attention to how much power I have before I charge). 7.00 am to 1.30 pm.

IMO, this thing lasts alot longer than I thought. I wonder how it will do with a Microdrive or two installed. But it also charges longer than I thought. :D
