Uhm... I might be missing something, but I'm pretty sure "Thou shalt not steal" is a prominent passage in the Jewish, Christian, and Islamic scriptures, as well as similar variants in other major religions. Just because you "DON'T FLIPPIN CARE," doesn't make it any less stealing.
And you obviously care a great deal, judging from the passionate way in which you argue.
I'm all for fair use, but the law is the law and it's not something I care so much about that I'm going to be caught, tried, appeal for years until the Supreme Court will hear my case, and try to argue that the DMCA law is flawed. If you've got the time and the funds to do so then why not just write your congressman instead and quit arguing pointlessly on an unrelated internet forum. The law is that they're illegal. There's nothing to argue about.
