There's no reason it won't work.

I've been hearing some so-so reports on it being working (or non-working) so don't get excited yet.

Well the trial version of the software doesn't do anything. It's just the GUI of the program with no backend what-so-ever. And I fear no one understands the settings, either, seeing as how they underclock the SDRAM in order to get a proper multiplier for 440MHz, when in all actually the decimated RAM speed will criple the device regardless of clock speed.

I'm aware of the demo being essentially a GUI, but the other part was why I'm not too sure yet, once we get people who know what they're doing, there may be some speedups.

the program WORKS on dell axim x5 advanced (400mhz) but the axim doesnt seem to be able to handle ANYTHING higher than 400... if i up the L value, it locks teh screen up, but i can still hear noises if i click on the start menu and things like that... so i get the impression that the LCD cant handle 118 mhz!! what a waste of money... i hope its just ab ug in this version of the program (1.35) but i doubt it...

It's a waste of money, and a bug, that YOUR device can't overclock?

Tell me I'm not the only one who doesn't see the problem with that statement.

this is what I was affraid of. People have no idea what they're doign with this program.

Andy, leave the L value ALONE! DO NOT TOUCH IT! It should never be anything other than 27. The M and N values are the only ones you should ever change. If you change L then you WILL permanently damage your LCD screen and experience a slowdown in speed. When you raise the L value you increase the current to the LCD screen and decrease the clock speed of the RAM.
