I replied via an instant message, but I will post here as well.  I haven't had the chance to play with the new Ipaq yet, so I do not know about the speaker on that model; but as for the speaker on the new Casio, it seems to be even louder than the speaker onthe EM500 (which seems louder than the E-125, if you ask me), and it doesn't seem to get muffled very much do to the well designed holes on the d-pad.  HArd to explain, but you'll have to try it out for yourself I guess :)

Ive compared the specs of all the new models coming out. And the Casio is the winner in my book, no competition.

well, most of the new models have the same features. But Casio was very inovative by adding USB host. And I like the look of the casio the best. It includes the two expansion slots, but also has sleeves for more. And hopefully casio will keep in mind thickness when they developer their sleeves unlike compaq. And the least likely to have button problems is the casio;)

that may be true now, but all the new models comming out are pretty darn thing, and if casio has thin expansion packs that would top it off.

Plus, I always use a CF or microdrive. Which means I would always be using an expansion sleeve for an iPaq.
