They will never do it. I've noticed that in the past few years Nintendo has aimed it's marketing at young children (2 to 12). For instance look at the new games from Nintendo on the GameCube. That new Zelda game looks like a cartoon and the new Metroid game is in a crappy 1st person view, which in my opinion has ruined both the Metroid and Zelda series. Look at the new Mario game also. It's about making Mario go around and clean up pollution. The people at Nintendo have been replaced or turned into tree hugging, 1st grade teachers. At least there is still some decent games on the GBA.

I doubt Nintendo would support playing Nintendo games on any device other than one with a Nintendo badge on it. AFAICR, they've never supported emulation of any kind.

Well first off. A laptop can play gba games full speed with an emulator, and ppc's will be able to in a i say a year. This new pxa255 should make a big improvement because just look how powerfull the h1910 is with a 333mhz 150mhz bus ! Another thing is that why would you want to play a gba game on your laptop? Wouldn't you be rather playing quake 3 or something? The hole point to gba is that its small and portable not that its games are state of the art. Another thing , wouldn't you rather have 100+ games on one cf card then 1 cf card per game ? I understand the hole emulator that makes games full speed but were going to seeing that very soon. And by the time they would finsh with making something like that we would allready have full speed gba. Good idea but when you think about it , its pretty pointless.
