VobSub with VirtualDub

Hi everybody,
Been reading in the forum for sometime and using the wonderful guides available for encoding movies into my PPC. Thanks a lot for the tips.
I would like to ask a question if I may. I have been using using VirtualDub for encoding DivX films and with no problem whatsoever. But I would like to encode some films with subtitle burnt into the films. I have visited doom9 for some tips and I am currently trying Gordian Knot for doing the job. It is a great program but not so good for PPC films because it lacks some features that I use in VirtualDub (it uses VirtualDub but without giving me the access to finetune the options...) It uses VobSub and it is a neat program whereas the subtitler filter which comes with VirtualDub is quite hard to use.
I have tried the VobSub filter for VirtualDub method (changing vobsub.dll to vobsub.vdf) in Doom9, which is a year old. but it won't work using the new VobSub version.
Does anybody know how to import the Vobsub filter into VirtualDub?
Thanks for your help!!!
Andy
