Used NEC MobilePro 770. I just sold mine for $180 on eBay. They're very good for typing papers, surfing the web, and instant messaging, but the only game I sucessfully managed to run on it was PocketGB. So although it's not a hardcore gaming machine, it's seems like it's good for what you want it to do and it's nice and cheap, too.

As for a new one at that price range, I dont think that's gonna happen.

Which one? The HP 320LX Palmtop ??? it looks kinda cool. I would get one if I could.
