You could, but you'd have to use your minutes, and the 1-800 would count as a local call, not toll free.

It depends if you're using it as a dialup modem or as a GPRS modem. If you're using as a dialup, it only uses your minutes. EVEN THOUGH IT IS A 1-800-NUMER, YOU STILL HAVE TO PAY FOR USING THE CELL TOWER, SO THE CALL TIME COUNTS AS DOMESTIC MINUTES.
