FYI, i have a Cassiopeia E-115
Does removing the main battery from the PocketPC cause the memory to be lost? Because apparently when i removed the main battery[it was getting kinda hot so i figured i'd take it out to let it cool], put it back in, and turned on the PocketPC, it shows the "Starting..." message. that means the PC has resetted...and all the files i downloaed were gone. [except in my storage card]

Yep, all your stuff that was on RAM is gone and the OS has resetted. If the RAM looses power (like by taking the battery out), everything in it is erased as it is temporary memory. Some Pocket PCs have a backup battery that provides power for a while if the main battery goes dead or is removed (like the Jornada 560), but most don't.

Hmmmm...removable battery+no backup battery=almost pointless...
If you buy an extra battery or a special quad-charge battery then how do you switch them without losing your data??

The E-125 has a backup battery.

Well yes, a lot of PPC's do. One problem with the Axim...isn't the backup battery like a watch battery? I like the rechargable backup batteries much better...

Unfortunately, all the battery can do is keep the memory intact. It's not powerful enough to actually run the device. Ah well. I got the Dell travel charger from eBay for $2.75 last week, so it's no big deal. It works great, and sure beats paying $20 for one. =)
