try kazaa.com, lots of movies in this file sharing community, about 90% is smut but plenty left for the others. They have lots of Bugs Bunny, Simpsons, Seinfeld, etc. Some recent major movies too. Note: you need a real connection, not a modem! To translate (avi to mpeg) and adjust the size of the files, I use TMPGenc. To play, I use PocketTV (Win MediaPlayer 7.1 for PPC skips too many frames, looks awful).

You guys are poor leeching bastards! Is $20 too much for a good DVD? $20 costs a whole lot less than the time it takes to make an MPEG or to RIP a rented DVD! First you've got the time, then the hardware, then lots more time. Ugh, losers.
