....I bought an ipaq 2215. :D

I never thought I would ever buy an ipaq, but the 2215's features and performance sounded really impressive (and it's not outrageously priced like past ipaqs). I can't wait to play Quake with twice the framerate that I'm used to, and SNES emulation is evidently very fast. I thought the screen looks pretty good, but from what I hear it's not as good as the 1910's screen. My new little toy is charging right now, so I'll wait a couple hours until I get it all setup and perform benchmarks.

Tell us about it, please. What do you think of its appearance? How large is it comparatively? If the 266MHz Samsung CPU in the H1945 can't keep up then the 2215 is my only hope.

Ok, I just benchmarked PQ and this thing really is as fast as everyone has said it is. I got 14.9 fpsand I made sure to delete the config.cfg first so that there definitely wouldn't be any optimizations. This is what XScale should have been like a long time ago.

Yeah, I was playing around with one of these a few weeks ago. (I mean... ummm... *runs*)

If I were to buy a new PPC, it's probably the one I'd go for. It was very speedy just navigating menu's, etc compared to my old e740.

But I have a smartphone now... and I don't need a smartphone, pocket pc, tablet, and laptop...

This new PPC just keeps getting better and better. Doom II was unplayable on my Axim, but it runs perfectly smooth on my new ipaq. :D I still haven't tried SNES emu yet, but I'll try that soon.
