Yeah, actually, that border is pretty darn noticeable and ugly when compared to my 1910...

Not that I wouldve ever noticed it if I had not owned this thing for 6 months.

Besides the 2215 has a CF slot, which I've been sorely missing :)

Border is about the same as the 2215

The black border around the screen is about the same size on both the 1945 and the 2215

I just picked up a 1945 today at Circuit City and I've gotta say that it's every bit as fast as the 2215 in both benchmarks I used (pocketquake and pocketsnes).

The directional pad isn't nearly as touchy as on the 2215 but the screen on the 2215 is nicer. The whites on the 1945 are yellowed, like on the original 36xx series. On the other hand, the display on the 1945 is crisper, and makes the 2215 display look a bit clouded in comparison.

Also, no adjustments to ClearType. It's either on or off.

Other than that it's a pretty neato device.

Also, the 1945's screen is a bit larger than the 2215. I know they both claim that they're 3.5", but it seems like the 1945 screen is maybe 1/4" larger.
