I'm about to encode Crouching Tiger and I want to do it in Mandarin w/ subtitles. How do I go about adding the subtitles. I saw in an earlier post that you do this with TMPGEnc but I'm unable to find where to do this. Can anyone help me with this?

Ok, here is how, listen carefully:
1. you insert the dvd, and open up smartripper
2. you go to the files tab, you see all the files you need selected EXAMPLE:
2_1.VOB
2_2.VOB
ETC..
3. select the files 2_0.BUP and 2_0.IFO, this is assuming that the files which were already selected when you clicked the files tab, were 2_X.VOB if they started with a one, then use the 1_0.BUP and 1_0.IFO
4. You are now done with SmartRipper, go to FlaskMpeg
5. Under the file menu click open dvd, not open file. Search for your IFO file and open it. It should bring up a screen where you can select audio and subtitles etc.
6. continue just as you would normally.

I did it with the matrix, it was readable.
