i have run into this problem one too many times. sometimes i uninstall a program and and the icon still remains in the program view or i reinstall it and the icon is there twice. What i have to then is run Dashboard cut the icon from the program view and problem solved. is there an easier way so i do not have to have dashboard installed on my ppc. the unit im using is hp2210.

there is no way to delete from the program view.unless running dashboard.

I know I can. You need to use file explorer, you can't click Programs from your start menu.
