Is it possible to DOWNgrade to PPC2002 from WM2003?

Due to the lack, (and/or), incompatibilities with WM2003 and software made for PPC2002, is it possible to flash my device (the A620) down to PPC2002? My main concern is hardware support actually, but I just think it's a registry problem, the incompatibilities, that is.
