Warcraft 2 on Pocket PC (solution?)

This may sound stupid, but maybe you can play Warcraft 2 on the Pocket PC, without porting the game or anything...

I have got the game (both War2 and the Battle.net edition) and i noticed that the normal Warcraft 2 is for MS-DOS.
So i thought that maybe if PocketDOS is capable of playing such games, you can play it via the DOS Emulator.

So i went to a couple of sites for the NO-CD cracks/patches, cause you can't use the CD in your PPC :D , and i found one good crack, that allows you to play the game without a CD (only the installation, wich is about 20mb).

The only problem is, I DON'T HAVE A POCKET PC (yet).
I sold my old Cassiopeia E-125 a couple of months ago...

If somebody is able to try this one out, then we will all know if this (maybe dumb) suggestion is working.

I did the following:
* Copied all the content of the CD (about 120mb) to my HD.
* opened command and installed the game via the folder i copied, and the CD ejected). I did this to emulate the no-cdrom-drive thing on a pocket pc.
* unpacked (thank you megagames) to the war2 installation folder.
* ran the 'wc2crack.exe'.
* then ran 'war2cd.bat', and the game started, without asking for a CD when starting single player.

This worked on my PC, and i sure hope that it will work on a pocket pc.

I am sorry i can't try this myself, but i will as soon as i get my Pocket PC.

If you tried this, please post if its working or not. (and why :) ).

Thanks for reading,

Dave (Miracle)

It was a hoax, Jadam. April Fools. I'm not even sure PocketPCs are sold in Russia.
