Can anybody help me out here im having some problems. I have a rip of one of my dvds its avi but has ac3 sound. The problem I have is when I use AC3 compatible virtual dub I am un able to reencode the audio. I have tried extracting it to wav then re encoding that, but the sound comes out low quality and sounding slow.
Any ideas about getting around the problem, either a way of extracting the ac3 audio without loss of quality or a virtual dub plugin.

Did you use HeadAC3he to convert the AC3 to WAV? I use it and I think it works pretty good.
