H2215 vs. Asus

Postby Caesar » Oct 5, 2003 @ 12:12am

Since my much beloved axim was stolen yesterday(Don't ask how I'm still incredibly angry )and I doubt I'm getting back, I've decded I HAVE TO HAVE A NEW PPC NOW!! I want to know which has better performance, the h2215 or the new asus. I'm leaning towards the ipaq cuase I've always wanted one. But I'm still not sure which one is all the much better.
Organic Superlube? Oh, it's great stuff, great stuff. You really have to keep an eye on it, though--it'll try and slide away from you the first chance it gets.

the asus is the fastest pocket pc out at the moment. If you get the A620 BT you get 64 megs of rom and bluetooth. The asus has amazing battery life, and a better screen than the hp. All in all its a good choice, but some people dont agree as you will probaly see...

For people who said that the asus is made of cheap plastci look at this : http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/ ... ight=grips
, so the advantage of the ipaq over the asus is not its quality, but its extra memory slot. :)

It is true that the side grips on the 2215 seem to have problems with staying on. Mine are pretty rough looking, I contacted HP about it but they never got back to me.

The asus is a great device, I sent my A620 in to get an A620BT, and I miss it so much. This HP just doesn't have the speed I require now that I have used the A620. First thing I'm going to do when I get my A620BT, is load up FPSE and play some playstation games.

btw, you can check out my review on the asus here if you havent already: http://www.pocketmatrix.com/reviews/a620

I'd say get an A620 unless you absolutely NEED the SD that the 2215 has.

[edit] Oops... the A620 has CF, not SD [/edit]
