I was planning on getting a USB bluetooth adapter for my pc. But what kind of range and speed would I get through a PPC? Would the internet work well?

Thanks

depends... Usually the range is about 10meters (pretty close to 30ft)... but that's what they say, so don't expect anything more than that.

Belkin has one that claims 100m, but my wifi doesn't even get that.

Yes, bluetooth speed should be enough for your browsing. Your internet is probably around 1.5mbps, and bluetooth runs at around 1mbps, so it might be a bit slower, but it'll still be quite fast for browsing and stuff.

Nothing is stronger than the weakest link. It doesn't matter how long your BT USB dongle will do, as long as your PDA only does 30 feet.
