Help! Alarms don't work:(

If you click on Start, Settings, Sounds and Notifications you'll see that there isnt a tick for 'Notifications'. This should be ticked.
My alarm failed to work as this was ticked off, i put it back on but i admit it kept seeming to disappear but seems to be ok now
