I should be receiving an Asus A620BT soon and was wondering which CF memory card I should use in it. I have been browsing newegg.com and noticed that there are standard CF cards and faster ones. Do the faster CF cards make a noticable difference in the A620?

As far as I've noticed, there's no real difference. Go with a good brand you'll be OK.

I heard sandisk ultra II were pretty fast according to dpreview, maybe cameras have the hardware to use the faster writing, i know that lexar uses the WA.
my viking gets .5 MB/s writing, .9 MB reading. I saw a 40x card get 1 MB/s writing.

Movies run better off a faster card.
