That's great! That'll get me half of the way there. If you don't mind my asking, where were you able to find that? I've searched EVERYWHERE without any luck.
~Ben

Ok, after a little research, it seems that the toshiba e310/740 pda also uses a 26-pin connector. Does anyone out there have both (or have access to both...I know some of you guys work in stores). Could someone check definitively to see if the connectors are the same? If they are, connectors can be purchased at
http://pc-mobile.net/connectors.htm I've bought connector parts from them before, and they're relatively reliable (in case anyone else is interested in tinkering with their a620's serial port).
~Ben

Hi,
i don´t understand, because it does not care from which side it is. Pin 18 is always for receiving.
How did you solved the problem with the necessary connector?

You say your sync cable was injection moulded, did you try to take it apart?
In the past with other cables I managed to take a sharp blade to the casing, and at least get the metal connector part out, it takes a little bit of skill to do it without taking the wires away, but with the pinout you can always resolder them if you do anyway. Although if its really tough plastic it will be difficult.....
But not impossible, that's basically what I'm trying to say.
Probably the best bet is to ask the seller wether the pda connector is injection moulded, or two piece plastic.
