Dont get me wrong i know what you mean, in Baldurs Gate I there were chapters which obviously opened up more of the world etc. I bought the latest Star Wars RPG which i thought would be totally non linear but instead i seemed to only go from one location to the next and until i had done a task i couldnt move on.

One game which i've liked for yearsss is Elite because there are just so many possible things to do and to go to.

I've only played a few RPG games in my time, still a huge fan of the early Ultima games. Basic graphics but a great great game
