PPC in a GBA

PPC in a GBA

Now, if this is not possible, please just tell me. I'm not sure of anything.

So I was wondering... Is it possible to take the hardware from outside of a PPC (screen, processor, everything) put it inside a case like the GBA, for example, by using a drummel to make room for the screen and such, and then somehow use the GBA buttons as replacements for the Pocket PC's? I was just thinking about this early this morning, and I have no idea if it's feasable. Considering I wouldn't be switching out any parts, just rearranging them, that wouldn't be a problem. The only issue, is of course, the buttons. I don't know how hardware buttons work at all, but just imagine: taking an original, empty GBA case, adding two buttons above the A and B (by just drilling holes), using L as the power button and R as the Record button... It would be incredible.

So anyway, tell me your thoughts. I would be happy to try this out somehow, with some cheap, old PPC and a broken GBA. If we can figure out the buttons, it could work.

maybe... there's a lot more involved though than ripping the guts out of two devices and switching the shells, so either buy a GBA or PPC. There are sacrifices when using both.

Hey, why don't you try it and tell us how it works! :P

God I wish that were possible, maybe feasable would be a better word. The idea is good but in reality I doubt something like this would be worth the effort needed. Hope someone can prove me otherwise, because I love the design of the GBA SP, damn clamshell designs drive me nuts... in a good sort of way. 8)
