I have been using my 3970 with upgraded rom 4.00 for about 4 months now and everything worked fine until my screen froze up today. Soft and hard resets dont work because the device just freezes on the first red white ipaq screen. I have encountered several other threads in the forums from users that have exactly the same problem. I live in Germany so ppc techs probably is not an option. Any suggestions?
