How are you guys?

Since I will be leaving for college relatively soon, I've decided to start saving whatever money I have for a pocket pc, since I have low hopes of winning that Asus A716. :P I've been doing some research and I believe the Asus A620 would be my best bet. Since I will be needing extra storage, my parents are willing to pass along their Sandisk 256MB CF card. :) I've heard some bad things about Sandisks CF cards and the Dell Axim X5 (horrible read/write speeds, sometimes won't detect, etc...) I'm wondering if there have been any issues with the Asus A620 and Sandisk CF's.

Thanks everyone~!

The problem is not the A620, but the card. And the problem isn't that big (Only speed and durability), Sandisk is good but surely not the best. For a 256mb Kingston, it only costs 70$ or less. Anyway I don't have problems with Kingston on my A620.
No, I've never seen that, I've never seen anyone drive their garbage out to the curb and bang the hell out of it with a stick. No, I've never seen that.

Actually Sandisk SD Card problems are big because they are prone to failure on their own regardless of what device is utilizing it. This is due to poor manufacturing to the best of my knowledge. If it's being given to you and it's worked fine in the past, then you shouldn't see any problems. If you plan on getting a new one, it's a roll of the dice on both longevity or an initial failure, and I would recommend another brand such as Kingston.

Yeah, you'll be fine with a Sandisk CF card.
