as long as there is an update on the way, i won't worry about the Wi-Fi probelm just now.
Does anyone know how the customer support is for either Dell or ASUS? I have heard horror stories from the HP support so i'm not even going to consider a HP PDA now.

Asus along with ProPortable (if you order from them) literally pamper you. I'd reccomend them a billion times over Dell.

umm... i'm sure pampering is good and all (if not alittle weird) but i was looking for customer support who won't tell me i'm sh*t out of luck if my palm breaks down 1 week after my year warrenty is up - as HP will do.

I had a faulty screen in my Asus A620BT, and their tech support through the factory here is less that pampering. Every time I call tech support, I get the person who answers the phone and says "I'm sorry, all of our representatives are busy...can you leave your name and number and they'll call you back?" Well, I have yet to get a call from them. After 24 to 48 hours, I typically call back and tell the friendly gentleman who answers the phone that "No, in fact. I would not like to leave my name and number. I would like to actually talk to someone." Usually at that point in time, I can get someone on the phone. From what I gather, there are actually two people who do the tech support for Asus PDAs here (Eastern US). They're both very nice and quite helpful, but it's nearly impossible to get one of them on the phone. If everything goes well from this point in time forward (which is a huge iff statement), I'll be getting my PDA back by March 5. I sent it in on the 3rd of Feb. I appologize for the rant on Asus tech support, but you asked!
