Does anyone know if such a thing exists? The closest I've found has been the martian netdrive, but seems to be gone.

I'm thinking of some kind of enclosure where I could put a hard drive that could be accessed using wifi, so I could carry the drive around with mp3s or something stored on it, and then plug it in and use my Pocket PC as an mp3 player. I've been looking around for a little while but haven't found much like this :|

Sadly, WiFi is a networking protocol, so it'd basically need to be a full computer in order for that to work. And then there's what protocol it'll use for the network share.

it wouldnt be worth it because of the added bulk and battery drain

We should have some of these shortly......

What Asus developed is a 2.5" hard drive carrier... You can put in whatever notebook hard drive you want. The carrier is supposed to be around $150... I hope it shows up around the same time as the a730s...

It's a neat product and it's very tiny.
