So the 18bit display was a typo... suddenly this PDA doesn't seem that great anymore, except for the size of course.

Kind of mixed feelings... It is good that it will have bigger 94mm screen and USB host (nice surprise - I'll be able to conect my SONY still camera with the PDA directly throught USB cable), but I really looked forward to the 256000 color screen. So only hope that it won't have yellow tint (like h4150 and later models of A620).

And why will it have only 46MB RAM accesible? The operating system will occupy 64MB ROM + 20MB RAM? I hoped that I'll have something about 80MB (56MB RAM + some ROM) to justify the price.

One more thing - I wonder whether it will have consumer Infra-red port (like e.g. h2210) to be able to control TV on the distance of up to 5 meters. I heard that it will but it isn't written there.

Well, first of all.. this model is going to be $500. So it is worth it.

Still sounds good, even though there won't be 128 MB of RAM. I will, of course, wait for the WiFi version (or WiFi Bluetooth combo).

At $499, it's definitely worth it.

I guess there is some space in the 64Mb ROM left for user storage.
$500 is a fair price, I hope to see the price of wifi-bt combo model before placing my order. Will the combo model has 128Mb Ram? I really hope that.

Well, personally I don't care about getting 104 less Mhz than the current max but 128MB RAM should be the minimum these days, especially when combined with a VGA screen (I dread to think how much RAM upcoming VGA optimized web browers will consume). Here's to hoping the A730 with WiFi will come standard with 128MB RAM!
