Dunno if I'm dropping the ball here, but the fantabulous media player aka BetaPlayer, is now updated to 0.03. Aside from better compabitility, many bugs were squashed like the volume slider issue for example, as well as adding new features like an equalizer and preamp.

Not to go off on a tangent here, but if PM has the capacity to help that guy out with hosting, it would greatly help the community.

For AVI, XVID and OGG, it's the premiere freeware solution. Did I mention that it's also the best medium for high bitrate divx/xvid? Oh yeah, it's free too...

And I think its great, so there is a good reason to use it!
