X30 vs A730

I agree with Flippet totally. I currently own a A620bt and it has served me well. But, for the price of the X30 i get EVERYTHING(wifi,BT,sd,SPEED,etc) and i dont have to wait 2 months for it and still pay more money for it. I already have a digital camera so i dont need a pocket pc for this. The price over at Dell is incredible for this device! Imagine overclocking a device that natively runs at 624mhz! 800mhz anyone?

My X30 should be on my doorstep tomorrow. After i charge the unit and do some of the preliminaries, i am going to benchmark the hell out of this unit and see what kind of numbers i can get out of PQ and Morphgear.
In all honesty, I love Asus as much as everyone else BUT, I would really like this forum to go back to the way it used to be. Now, it's like an ASUS forum. I almost feel like im saying something taboo if i mention another pocket pc other than an Asus. Again, I own an A620BT and i love it. But, i remember when most of this community was concerned about SPEED and PERFORMANCE of the games on many different machines! Now it's like were a bunch of Asus fanboys waiting for something that might just be comparable to what's already available. It's not about name brands or who is selling what on this site. It's about maintaining the integrity of what we are doing through exploration and sharing information. This is what i remember about this portion of the site when Pocket Quake first was introduced on this platform. $300 is alot of money to some of us, but $300 will ALWAYS be less than $499 no matter how u slice it. This machine does not have a VGA screen but it has everything else, including a faster processor than the new Asus which will not be released for another couple of months or so. Did i mention that it has both Wifi and Bluetooth and a really nice form factor to add with it's 2000mah extended life battery that i can get for only $69. The price of the machine, battery, and a nice Piel Frama case is still less than the price of the A730 alone!
Sorry about the rant, but it was looong over due. I've been coming here since the inception of this site.

I agree with you, and can honestly say if the X30 came with CF I would of sold my 716 in a moments notice on Ebay.
