Asus Bluetooth GPS Kit Reviewed

Asus Bluetooth GPS Kit Reviewed

Postby Matt Keys » Jun 10, 2004 @ 7:43am

<a href="http://www.pocketmatrix.com/reviews/gps/"><img src="http://www.pocketmatrix.com/images/reviews/gps.gif" width="120" height="100" border="0"></a>I have finished writing up my review of the Asus Bluetooth GPS Kit available from ProPortable.com. Check out the review <a href="Http://www.PocketMatrix.com/reviews/gps/">here</a>
<p>"A few months back I purchased the Asus GPS Kit from ProPortable. This was the version with the GPS mouse that connected through the bottom of the Asus A620. While I do love the kit--I have it nicely wired up in my car--it just doesn't provide the same mobility that a Bluetooth system can. One big advantage I can imagine would be for people who like to hike or camp out in the wilderness. So the question is, does that mobility come at a cost?"</p><!>

Matt, Thanks for the great review...

Can someone tell me if this GPS kit also works with non-Asus handhelds? i ordered a Dell Axim X30, and now i'm looking for a good GPS kit for a good price.

so this kit could be it...

thanks
Seet

Well I think the Hollux recievers are only sold overseas (I could be wrong)...... but the Asus kit comes with a nice car holster, charging cables and plug converters which make up most of the difference. If you have to get this from overseas, you must take into consideration duty charges and brokerage fees.

Sincerely,
Justin
