MorphGear WM2003SE compatibility issues?

Okay, so I just got my X30 today. Naturally, the first two items I installed were PNester and MorphGear. I started playing donkey kong on morphgear and noticed a button lag. I thought that maybe the X30 suffers from button lag and I would be forced to send it back. However, I tried playing mario 3 in pocketnester, and there was no button lag! I could play just fine! I played through the second world or so and decided to go back to morphgear. For comparison purposes, I loaded up all stars and played mario 3. There was button lag! I even tried different versions of morphgear and there was still button lag. It is the same version i used on my a620 and I had no problems with it. Does anyone else have an X30, or another WM2003SE device to see if they have the same problem? This really sucks because running morphhear is typically about 90% of my PPC usage. I don't wanna use PSNES because of the crappy sound.

frameskip could give the appearance that you have a tiny bit of button lag, esp. if set to 3 or more. Try frameskip 0.
The morphgear author did change some things around with morphgear recognizing button presses a whil ago, to decrease lag with keyboards, that might be part of the reason.

Remember what I said, though, I did not have this problem with my A620. So the frameskip thing can't be the issue, as the X30 skips less frames than the A620, and as far as the button recognition having been changed, wouldnt that affect both devices as well?

try an older version and frameskip 0 and youll know very quickly my friend, it would only take you a few minutes of time :)

I have tried all of this stuff! In fact, I even tried PocketSNES and I had the same problem, yet I am absolutely sure that there is no lag with NES! This is strange!

Well there is more info necessary. What methods do Morphgear and PNES use to gather the pressed buttons? This is possibly a GAPI issue.

You do know morphgear can play nes too? So why not play your nes rom in it rather than the snes version? Just to see if it is morphgear in general or just certain modules. Also you have on screen buttons, why not use them to see how much of a lag there is aswell?(of course no one hardly uses that for real game playing)
P.S. sellout, shoulda stuck with a620 lol

Damn, so I guess I would have to wait for MorphGear to release a new version more compatible with WM2003SE? The return period on the Axim is 21 days, so hopefuly I'll find some kind of fix soon!
