Aeon of Discovery has been updated to version 1.1. The update includes numerous bug fixes, a new positive random event, ungarrisoning units, initiating attacks on natives, new music, and more. Aeon of Discovery is a turn-based strategy game for the Pocket PC involving four major maritime powers during the Period of Exploration and Discovery of the New World.

- BUG FIX: Missing channels in music.
- BUG FIX: Slow splash screens and missing loading screen.
- BUG FIX: AI opponents could hire beyond 9 unassigned men/ships.
- BUG FIX: Sometimes garrisoning soldiers unresponsive or modified by colonist plus/minus buttons instead.
- BUG FIX: Title music track did not restart from the beginning when exiting back to title screen.
- BUG FIX: Title music track continued to play when a new game or old game was begun.
- BUG FIX: Music silences during game or the game crashes when the next music track begins.
- NEW Random Event: Your colonists may discover a hidden gold mine from time to time, thus increasing the gold levels in that colony for one or more decades.
- Soldiers may now be ungarrisoned from colonies by decrementing them within the Garrison command scroll.
- Any ship type may now be removed from a sea zone by decrementing them within the Sail command scroll.
- Added a toggling option for pausing AI messages until the screen is tapped.
- If there are insufficient funds in the treasury to pay taxes, money may now be optionally drawn from your personal funds to pay the remaining balance.
- Garrisoned soldiers may now initiate attacks against native tribes in order to remove them from the colony.
- Developed infrastructure now has a greater effect at reducing the chance of plagues.
- Five NEW but previously hidden music tracks.
- Decrease in memory overhead.
