Yeah, because I would take somewhat slower gameplay and AWESOME graphics and an awesome PPC and and awesome case, and an awesome manufacturer and a... (Need I continue?) ANY DAY! If only it were cheaper!

None of the VGA models look to have great controls right now. Out of all of them, I'd probably say the A730 might even be the best. The hx4700, horrible, touchpad and buttons are absolutely tiny with. Loox 720, button lag (see ). The e800 has button lag, since the e830 is nearly identical, I'd bet the same for it too. It's cross shape with buttons on both sides isn't a good format anyways.

Either the A730 and X50 will be the best from the looks of it. The A730's buttons are raised, pretty nice. The X50's don't look too small, so they should be decent. The dell d-pad is another oval one. Judging from the underneath pictures, it loosk similar to the d-pad in the Tungsten E/Tungsten T3 (shape is almost identical to T3). That's ok, but not great. The A730's d-pad is odd because its slightly trapezoidal, but every review I've found says it's pretty decent.

hmm well i currently have a dell x30 and can tell you that it is just about the worst D-PAD i have ever used for gaming...

what sucks is that the x50 dpad kinda looks the same.. the buttons are also recessed unlike the a730's...

this really sucks when comeone makes a potentially GREAT PPC and something stupid like the buttons screw everything up..

first off, don't double post, and secondly, if you just read four posts up, you can clearly see the d-pad is different. This more clear picture emphasizes that.

Hmmm, now there's . It Could just be the angle of the photo but the D-pad does look awfully ovular afterall... :(
