Dell is able to reduce prices because they are such a massive company. I also presume they are able to make huge numbers of them to save yet more money.

thanks for the reply.
I am confused about motherboard speeds, types of memory and stuff like that. 2 of the 3 PDAs I am considering have 400 mhz processors, not the 624mhz . but the 624 is cheaper?
I guess I will not make my final decision until I test a few of them personally.
How do websites like Yahoo homepage look on the devices? I have the ability to goto websites with my cell phone but I get text only and want more.

Thanks, jjb
I went to look at some devices today and was surprized at how small they were. smaller that I thought they would be. The selection sucked at both Circuit city and best buy as far as demos go. many looked a bit beatten up and some were not charged.
I am definately now wanting the Dell Axim x30 high end. more features than I need so I could grow into it. Plus very current to handle new stuff out there now like some of the games.
How do web pages like yahoo look on them? are they close to what a computer would look like?
thanx again for taking the time to help with info.

Keep in mind that the taskbar up top isn't normal - those are addon programs.
