It does look kinda of bulky, but what I'm wondering is if the a730 with the extended battery will fit in the original case or does it come with an alternative larger case because I wouldn't want to buy one and have no protection for my ppc.

Yes, the extended battery will fit in the included nylon protective case that comes with the 730's... The case stretches!

The battery is bulkier, as you can see in all the pictures... but with it on, it still looks like it came from the factory that way. There is a price you pay for more battery life.... The other option it to pick up extra main batteries... but this is for the serious wifi user, I'm sure.
