I find it hard to believe there is button lag. I for one have played donkey kong country and loads of mario games on the X50, all without any lag. Not one person has posted on any other forum I vist including aximsite with this problem.

Therefore you are imagining things, or your unit is defective in some way...

When I first noticed it I searched the AximSite forums and one of the first people who got and and tested out emulator performance did mention the button lag.

That was very early on in the X50. Well before the new version of morphgear that makes use of the gapi tweak.

As I said I dont have a problem with lag, and I have not seen any recent posts about it.

The new versions of MorphGear have slower SNES modules, which is why I still use 2.1.0.0. ANY GAPI based program makes use of the GAPI tweak... In fact, with the newer version, you have to do that hack which makes in hi-res un-aware, which you do not have to do with older versions.

The X50v will probably be faster mainly because it has a faster processor.

Oh yeah, RChickenMan, I meant to tell you in a earlier thread you posted: The "button lag" you appear to be experiencing is due to either a slow frame rate (how many FPS does it show inside the brackets?) or an older version of Morphgear with problems (2.1.0.0 is very old...).

I have played many GAPI games and also many SNES and Genesis games without sound (running at 30+ FPS) and can tell you there is not a hint of button lag. It plays as smooth as my younger sister's gameboy. :P

However, when I do enable sound in Morphgear and start getting 12-20FPS I do notice "actual lag" which can be confused as "button lag".
