How's the Axim X5?

Hey guys, today I was using my 1910 at school and someone mentioned that he has an Axim X5 that won't hold a battery charge (pfft, replacement batteries are cheap). I said I'd buy it for $30 and he's considering it (he has to ask his mom). I'm assuming it's the standard model.
Anyway, how is it? Is it rather speedy, and can it be overclocked pretty well? How's the D-Pad? What should I know about it? I have an iPaq h1910, so I guess using that as a benchmark would be cool.
P.S.: I'm keeping my 1910 regardless.

Both are aging and rather sluggish.

Hold onto your h1910. I had one of those and I loved it. Despite its lack of features, I would say it is my favorite device in its own way. The D-Pad on the X5 is crap, the d-pad on the h1910 kicks ass. The h1910 is sleek and small, the X5 is a brick. The list goes on.

Thanks for the replies so far. If I can get it for that $30+$12 battery then I'm sure I won't be disappointed (not like I'm seeking out one actively, I just can't turn it down at that price).
Oh, are accessories for the X5 more plentiful than the 1910? I'd assume so since the 1910 is not supposed to be a Power-User type device. Hmm, wonder if keyboards are cheap, I'll have to look.
Yes I will keep the 1910 regardless.

Accessories should be pretty plentiful, they might be starting to dissappear due to the fact that it is getting older and there are multiple replacement PDAs for it now from Dell.

I would just go ahead and buy the Axim X5. Afterall, for $42 could it be all that bad? You could use it for WiFi or other such things. I personally use my Axim X5 for ShoutCast radio, just plug it into old speakers, and you are good to go.

Like the others have said, the X5 is quite large, but for $30, heck why not. It's your money though.
